In the 100m freestyle, Harvey placed 3rd in the heat and 5th in the final, Nate placed 5th in the heat and Ainsley placed 5th in the heat and 7th in the final.
In the 50m freestyle events 9 yr old Nate was 3rd in the heat and 2nd in the final while Brock was 7th in the heat. 10 yr old Juke powered down the pool to place 2nd in the heat and then take out 1st in the final, with Darcy 3rd in his heat. 11yr old Maison placed 4th in his heat and 8th in the final, Evan had a solid swim while Ainsley touched 3rd in her heat and Gemma was 5th in the heat.Harvey touched 3rd in his heat and 5th in the final while Lachlan swam 4th in his heat. Lucy Innes touched 4th in her heat and Madison swam strongly.
In the 50m breaststroke, Brock touched 5th and Nate 6th while Juke took out 1st and Darcy swam a solid 6th. In the 11yrs Maison placed 3rd and Ainsley 5th. 12 yr Lucy swam 7th. Some swimmers were disqualified due to stroke technicalities or finishes.
In the 50m backstroke, Nate swam a sizzling 1st and broke the record Juke had set last year, while Brock touched 5th in the heat.In the 10 yrs boys Juke kept his winning streak going with a 1st, while 11yr Evan touched 5th and Ainsley touched 5th. Gemma swam a good race as did Maison and Madison. 12 yr Lachlan touched 5th with Harvey 6th.
In the last individual event, 50m butterfly, placings were Nate 4th, Juke 3rd, Maison 6th, Evan 7th, Ainsley 5th, Lachlan 6th and Harvey 7th.
In the freestyle relay, the Junior Boys and Senior Girls placed 3rd and Senior Boys placed 4th. In the Medley Relay all teams placed 4th.
Nate Thompson was Runner-Up 9yr old Boys Champion and Juke Ferguson was 10yrs Boys Age Champion.
Overall the BTC came 2nd in the Average trophy. Well done to the team.!
