Anzac Day

BTC students commemorated Anzac Day throughout the day. A strong contingency of Senior students represented the College at the dawn ceremony. The candlelit students showed respect and acknowledgement of the sacrifices our Armed Services have displayed and continue to display. After the laying of the wreath , student leaders also placed a poppy at the foot of the gravestones.

Later in the morning, the whole college assembled in Mosman Street and took part in the Anzac Day march.  Captains and Vice Captains , Callum, Scott, Zoe and Melinda, led BTC down the street. Steven, Ben and Justin kept the beat consistent with their drums. The College Captains laid a wreath at the Cenotaph.

The College had a personal BTC Anzac Day Service  on the lawns near Thornburgh House, where the BTC past students who had fought in wars were also acknowledged.  Boys Boarding Captains Ross and Damon placed flowers at the War Memorial Fountain.  Stella, Sam and Zoe controlled the flags while Mr Wager played the Last Post and Reveille.
