BTC Speech Day- Junior School

In the combined Speech Day format of this year, Junior School students had their formalities at the beginning of the program.The media presentation of the Year in Review showed the variety of curricular and co-curricular activities the students have been involved in throughout the year. Is it any woinder the year has been so busy. After a prayer from the chaplain Amy Diesel and address from Junior School Co-ordinator Cassie Fuller, the Prep-2 choir sang "Do Re Mi". Girl School Captain, Georgia Mintram gave her report, while, due to an ankle operation and stay in hospital, a video report from Boy School Captain , Jim Burgess, was screened . Presentation of Awards by Class Teachers included Sporting , Music, Drama, Religious and Citizenship Awards as well as Academic Enouragement and Excellence Awards. Junior Sportswoman of the year was Jessee Santo and Junior Sportsman of the Year was Takami Kuwajima. Proxime Accessit for Junior School was Leah Ryle while Dux of Junior School was Georgia Mintram.  The Years 3-7 vocal group performed a beautiful  version of "I Still Call Australia Home" and then Principal, Mrs Moxham, announced the Junior School Leaders for 2012. Junior School Captains are Maddison Aitchison and Jaxson Gallagher while Sports Captains are Sophie McLaren and Takami Kuwajima.
