Gold Fever

As a part of their local history and Gold Mining unit Ms Beauchamp's year nine class participated in a number of excursions. They had the pleasure of exploring the Venus Battery and were very interested in how the gold was extracted from rock. Their next excursion led them to the information centre where they enjoyed a short film on local history and were captivated by the stock exchange arcade before heading to explore the Zara Clark museum, which was full of treasures to see. Their final excursion took them to the Miners Cottage where they experienced Gold Fever while panning for gold, many students wanted to keep panning long after it was time to head back to school.

Year 7 Graduation Lunch

The Year 7 students, family and teachers celebrated the end of 'Primary School' at the Park Motel. They were treated to delicious finger food , drinks and dessert. Ms Schultz presented each student with a Certificate of Achievement as well as presenting them with a funny award. After lunch the students had their final Primary Assembly.

Junior School Bush Dance

Junior School enjoyed a Bush Dance and sausage sizzle recently. Each class performed a dance and then the rest of the Junior School and parents were invited to join in and try a new dance. In between the bush dances the students danced to disco music. The finals of BTC's Got Talent  performed.  In a difficult decision the prizes were as follows:
5th - Dan and his Drums
4th- Breenna, Megan and Leah
3rd -The Clowns- Erin, Jade and Poppy
2nd -Amy Neville
1st- Dancers Lili and Emma
