Year 5/6 Science and Year 11 Science21 have both raised Artemia, more commonly known as Brine Shrimp in their science classes.  You may know them as Sea Monkeys.

Both classes have looked at life cycles, and environmental conditions in which they live.

Students raised them from cysts (dried eggs), through one-eyed nymph stage, to adult. These adults are supposed to grow to approx 2mm long. Some of these are over 12mm long!
