Melbourne Visitors

BTC hosted staff and students from Oakleigh Grammar School in Melbourne. The group visited Bivouac Junction where the BTC Duke of Edinburgh students   took them on an orienteering course  through the bush before having a BBQ lunch complete with toasting marshmallows. The BTC students organised some game  challenges  for the visitors, which they enjoyed. They then had some free time to swim and kayak before heading back to BTC to prepare for the visit to the Tors Drive In to see Finding Dory and Zootopia. On Tuesday they visited the Venus Battery, the information centre and saw the Calling of the Cards before having some free time to  explore the city centre of Charters Towers. Tuesday night they visited Towers Hill to see the Ghosts of Gold.  They left Wednesday to go to Townsville via a trip to Mr Hesp's cane farm.
