Many BTC students were acknowledged for awards and achievements they have obtained recently. Music students have received their exam marks with James Smallwood gaining Honours in his Grade 3 trumpet, India Aitchison a Credit in her Grade 4 saxophone and Julia Sturmfels a Pass in her Grade 3 saxophone. Tuk Kuwajima was presented a certificate for his selection in the NQ Schoolboys 15 years Rugby Union Team.Mrs Schulz then presented the Eisteddfod Visual Arts winners. Teah Schaeffer- Highly Commended 3 Dimensional Artwork, Naomi Holdcroft-1st Collage, Meaghan Bowden ,2nd Coloured Drawing, Clint Rayment-2nd Painting, Evie Batt 1st-Painting and Jarrah Gough-1st Black and White Drawing.
Finally Jaimeen Kenni and Sean Tria presented Mr Fairbairn with the Fred Freimann Secondary Shield for Performing Arts and the Perpetual trophy for the best Primary School Band . Performing Arts Drama successes included Jaimeen Kenni and Katie Williams 1st Duologue, Katie Williams 2nd Monolgue, Jemimah Phillott, Madi Smith,Ashlee Walsh, Jaimeen Kenni 2nd Improvisation and Ashlee Walsh Highly Commended- Monologue. Music successes included James Smallwood 2nd Trumpet, India Aitchison 2nd Saxophone,SoloVocalists- Olivia Treacy, Elissa Harrison, Selai Mautaia HC Amy Neville 2nd, Jaimeen Kenni 1st, Merial Kenni HC . Amy and Jaimeen also received 1st in the duet. In the groups BTC placed 1st in the Senior Vocal Group, 1st and 2nd in the Senior Choir.
