BTC Secondary students lined up for the Interschool Cross Country recently. Congratulations to all the students who represented the College and gave their best . Students who finished in the top ten places included Sophie Mc Laren, Jessee Santo and Adagi Lifu in the 13 year olds: India Aitchison, Maddison Aitchison, Evie Batt ,Daniel Windus, Lachlan Corrigan, James Smallwood and Lachlan Wearing in the 14 year old events: Jemimah Phillott and Colin Rayment in the 15 year olds: Rachael Dahl, Karl Knuth and Casey Henry in the 16 year age group : Shaunica Lee Cheu and Brandon Reed in the Open Age group. A special mention to Karl Knuth who won the 16years Boys Age Champion and India Aitchison (14), Colin Rayment (15) and Shaunica Lee Cheu(Open ) who were runner-ups in their age group.
13 yrs, 14 yrs and 16 yrs Girls placed 2nd in their divisions while the 14 yrs, 16yrs and Open Boys also placed 2nd in their divisions.
In the Aggregate points BTC girls placed 3rd, BTC Boys placed 3rd and in the Overall points the College placed 3rd.
Students selected in the Charters Towers Team were Sophie Mc Laren, India Aitchison, Maddison Aitchison, Shaunica Lee Cheu , Daniel Windus, Colin Rayment and Karl Knuth.
