The BTC community had a very busy weekend. On Friday BEARS careers and pathways advisor , Mr Ted Hook, talked to Yr10,11 12 students and had a parent session Friday night. students and parents booked 1-1 interviews with him throughout the weekend, keeping Ted very busy. After a successful working bee on Saturday, parents and students turned up again on Sunday for the Interschool Sports Day against ASSG. while BTC had some wins and some losses, the games were great to watch and were played in the spirit of the game. all games had a good crowd of onlookers to cheer on the teams.
Netball results saw 13's, 14's and 15's go down to ASSG, while the 2nds had a good win 15-5 and in a great game the 1sts won 20-14.
Rugby League results had BTC claiming a good win in the 14yrs but going down in the 2nds and 1sts games. The 1sts had a tough competition and were unlucky in a few of their try attempts.
BTC band , Red Comment ,provided live music at the lunch time break. Thanks to the P&F for manning the food and drink stands throughout the day. A great day was had by all.
