Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey

A group of Duke of Edinburgh students travelled to Echo Creek in Tully and then to Wallaman Falls for their Adventurous Journey. The white water sports rafting was  a lot of fun with the students learning about the river flow and eddies and how best to paddle and navigate the water.
There was a great walk to Echo Creek Falls which included a river crossing and a swim at the waterfall.  The Challenge Course was a great team bonding exercise which included a lot of mud.
The students completed an orienteering course  before moving onto Walkman Falls. Here they also walked to the falls and back before walking to the rock pool.
We were very lucky with the weather and had a wonderful adventure.
