QISSN Final

After a successful campaign the BTC girls were to play off for 1st place in their division. Unbelievably the team they had to play was ASSG. But the girls  took the court ready to put their best foot forward. With only two halves the girls had to be switched on from the start to finish. The game started with close scores and the crowd was nervous, but with great team play the girls won the oppositions centre pass a few times as well as getting the points on the board with their centre passes to see them edge forward  at half time and continue their strong play to finish the winners 11-7 on the full-time hooter. Well done girls. Each game MVP points were awarded and after all the games Hayley Condon was presented with MVP for Blackheath. Congratulations Hayley.  Thanks to Coach Ms Karen Hopley,  managers Kellie Walsh and Alyssa Priddle and team umpire Ashlee Walsh as well as all the supporters who came to cheer the girls on including Mr and Mrs Fairbairn.

With all three Charters Towers Teams in the same division it was interesting to note the teams finished BTC 1st, ASSG 2nd, CCC 3rd.
