Confro Day 2

The Thornburgh Men lined up against St Joseph's College Toowoomba for their last pool game.  The teams were evenly matched with BTC gaining first points and converting the try with St Josephs doing the same for the score to be 10 all at half time. BTC crossed the try line again in the second half  but although St Josephs again scored a try, the last covered try went unanswered for the final score BTC 22 St Joseph's 16. Man of the Match was Sean Dernba.

BTC progressed into the top of the B Division teams to compete for the Plate. Playing at 7th position they were now matched against the team in 2nd position Clairvaux Mackillop College from Upper Mt Gravatt.  Half time saw BTC down 12 nil at half time. Once again they dug deep and scored 2 tries to the opposition's 1 try in the second half, but the time beat them, going down 18-8. Man of the Match was Mitch Fogarty. The boys now have a rest day on Wednesday.
