Primary Interhouse Athletics

Primary students were busy competing in the Primary Interhouse Athletics carnival on Monday. P-4 students were first involved in a round robin of mini field events with the Year 5 ,6,7 students helping to supervise. Events included target throw, basketball, hammer throw, shot put, high jump, long jump, javelin and bean bag toss. The younger students cheered on the 8-13 year olds when they ran in their 200m race . 8-13 year olds also competed in the usual long jump and shot put . 10-13 year olds took on the high jump with some mixed results. All students lined up for the sprints with the distance run ranging from 50m to 100m.  To cap off the day the students lined up to test their strength in the Primary tug- of- war.
