Katano High School Visit

 BTC are hosting the visit of sister school in Japan- Katano High School. Last year student from BTC visited Katano. The students and teachers arrived on Saturday and will visit until next Friday. On Sunday some of the host families took their students to Billabong Sanctuary to get up close and personal with some Australian animals. On the visitors first day at school they were treated to an Aussie Morning Tea before being welcomed at a special Assembly.  They also walked around  Charters Towers and visited the Miners Cottage where they had a go at panning for gold.

Some of the students were also involved in the athletics and all gave good performances.
