Parents, friends and students gathered for the Japan Trip Fundraising Dinner. With delicious smells wafting from the home economics room all day, the diners were ready for a treat. Diners were greeted with a complimentary punch drink before helping themselves to entrees of spring rolls,san choy bau and samosas. Main meal was again a smorgesboard with choices of pumkin soup,snow pea salad with Japanese dressing , Japanese style potato salad, meat dishes of Japanese chicken curry, sweet and sour pork ,sukiyaki and rice. The dessert was a selction of profiteroles, tiramisu and frangipani pie. The waiters were always ready to provide drinks and clear away the plates. Andrew Pittman provided entertainment to round off a great evening. Well done to all the students who helped with the cooking, waiting and presentation and a special thanks to Mrs Devinish and Ms Watson.
