Rugby Tenz

The annual Rugby Tenz competition saw the BTC teams compete against the other Charters Towers schools.  On the Friday night pools game the strong crowd had to scurry for cover as the rain bucketed down.  Congratulations to the BTC supporters. They looked great and were very vocal and supportive cheering on their teams. Great BTC pride! The 13 boys played their hearts out, never giving up against CTSCH and CCC in theor pool games .  The 15's won their pool games against ASSG and CTSHS to take on CCC in the finals. The BTC boys won 14-0 with Josh Abbott being awarded Player of the 15 yrs Boys Competition. The Open Boys had a  convincing win against CTSHS after going down to CCC . They just missed out on a finals berth. The BTC Open Girls had wins against CTSHS and CCC to take on ASSG in the finals. In  a fairly close and entertaining game, BTC came up trumps to win 12-7.  Evie Batt was awarded the Player of the Open Girls Competition.
