BTC Girls Shine At Cowboys Game

After the BTC Girls Dorm students visited the Cultural Day at the University in Townsville,  a group of indigenous students had the honour of flag bearing at the Cowboys and Warriors Rugby League  Home Game. At every home game the Cowboys  have  a group of indigenous students from a different school to take out the Aboriginal and Islander flags.  After practicing in the afternoon, the students performed the task well on the night where they carried the flags as they marched into the stadium with the defence force ,before the National Anthem was played.
Later the girls had a photo taken with Paul De Jersey who is the current Governor of Qld, and  the NRL trophy the Cowboys won in 2015.
Congratulations to the girls:- Kassity, Toneisha, Shelley, Chloe, Kiara, Babetha, Evelyn and Tenisha.
