Science at BTC

Year 5 and 6 placed kangaroo bones in weak acid (vinegar) and a weak base (bleach) before hypothesising what would happen to the bones after a week.

Year 8 have been busy dissecting hearts, while also involved in extracting DNA.

The Science 21  Year 11  students created seismometers to detect seismic movement of the earth, or in the classroom....someone banging on the desk.

The Biology  room has a barramundi and two new goldfish...although one is black, not gold.
