Author Tania Cox Visits BTC for Book Week

Students from Kindy to Year 8 were treated to a visit from successful children's author Tania Cox. After reading two of her stories Mrs Cox showed how pictures and photos could inspire her story writing.Together the K-Yr3 students and Mrs Cox wrote their own story before some of the Kindy students acted out another story. Mrs Cox then had the unenviable  job of choosing the best dressed book characters in each year level. After Morning Tea the older students , Yr 4-8 had their session with Mrs Cox. The students showed a lot of interest in her work and the amount of time, effort and drafts that went into writing a book.
