Students and teachers from Katano High School were welcomed to BTC in an Assembly. Madalyn Weicks and Julia Sturmfels addressed the group in Japanese, before presenting them with a small gift. After Assembly they were treated to an Aussie Morning Tea.
Also at the Assembly reports from Roy Fisher and Madi Smith were presented about the Confro League and Netball. NQ Sport certificates were also given to Roy Fisher and Tak Kuwajima. Madalyn Weicks, Julia Sturmfels and Jarrah Gough were given their half colours for Debating. Mrs Schulz tallied up all the Sprung cards for Semester 1 and the two leading students were Connor Neville and India Aitchison and the leading house was BACON. Alkirra Smallwood won the Sprung award for this week.
