BTC Senior Returns From Rugby Tour to Japan.

Year 12 student and Thornburgh Vice Captain Roy Fisher has returned from a successful Rugby Union Tour of Japan.  As  part of the Townsville and  District Brolgas Under 18  Rugby Union team, Roy visited schools and lived with various host families to have an authentic Japanese experience. With not a lot of grass coverage, most school's ovals were dirt and sand .  A lot of their games were played on artificial turf.The team had a very successful tour with them winning 5 from 5 games.
