Visiting Japanese Teachers

Mr Tanaka brought a group of Japanese teachers to Charters Towers to experience Australian lifestyle and to teach about the Japanese culture and language to students.

Mr Tanaka's group consisted of 7 female English teachers and 2 primary school students. They presented Japanese cultural lessons to BTC students on Monday afternoon and Friday. They also cooked Japanese food with some of our Year 9 and Year 10 students on Friday.

BTC has been lucky to have had Japanese students stayong at the College with host families earlier in the year and in 2014 a group of BTC students will be travelling to Japan.
