BTC had a lot of students, staff and families playing in the
basketball finals. In the Ladies Division, the Tropics were too strong winning back
to back championships for the year. Hotshots were Runner Ups . BTC students
played in both teams with the 3rd place Old Girls made up of BTC staff and
parents. Kerri-Ann Bulsey won Most Improved, while Debby Smith snagged the Top
Scorers Award. In the Men’s Final the neck and neck scores kept the crowd on
their feet but in the end it was Bush League that took the honours. Most of the
players on the Bush League team were BTC students with staff Leo West and Caine
Wager adding to the team. Best and fairest went deservedly to Westy while
Callum Smith was awarded the Team Player award.
