Students from Secondary
School celebrated their achievements at
the recent Colours Assembly. Principal, Mr Fairbairn, congratulated the recipients as they were
presented with their awards.
Students completing VET certificates included:
Michael Brown- Completion of SBT in Auto Mechanics
Zoe Curtis- Completion of ESP program with University of
Qld.
Samantha Hintz- Completion of Certificate lll Children Services
Courtney Sheales- Completion of Certificate lll Fitness
Steven Pittman was recognised for his participation in the
State Honours Ensemble Program 2012.
Mrs Barbara Robinson, from the Charters Towers Regional Council
presented Sally Carrington with the BHP Bilton Sports Development Bursary.
Jessee Santo was congratulated for selection in the NQ Touch
Team and representation at the State Touch Championships as well as her recent
selection in the Qld Primary School Athletics Team. She will compete in Adelaide
in both the 100m sprints and the relays.

Half Colour Awards for Sport and Public Speaking
