Carols Night and Junior School Break Up Day

Junior School had a fun break-up day with the time to break the Santa pinata that Mrs Cerqui had been busy making. A goodbye and big group hug to Ms H who is going to teach in London. Then it was practice for Carols Night. Carols Night was a great evening with the Junior school entertaining the crowd .Santa made a quick visit before the gathering joined the P-12 singers to sing a few Xmas songs. The younger students enjoyed the flashing toys that glowed in the dark. Some parents were lucky to win some of the Xmas hamper prizes. Thanks to Interact for working in the Whitbreads Van.

Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey

A group of BTC students completing their Gold and Silver Awards traveled to the Whitsundays to explore areas around Gloucester Island. They kayaked from the mainland  for a few hours before reaching their island. They slept in hammocks, hiked, snorkeled and took turns at cooking and meal preparation. A great adventurous journey was had by all.
