BTC Primary students gathered at ASSG to compete in the Interschool Primary Athletics Carnival. With many students bed ridden with sickness a big thanks must go to the students who filled in the events for them.
Congratulations to Annie Luckman who was 13years Girls Age Champion and took home 1sts in 800m, 200m, 100m, shot put, long jump and 2nd in high jump. Also congratulations to Reg Batt who tied 13 years Boys Age Champion and claimed 1st in 800m and long jump and 2nd in 200m . Dylan Gillard claimed a 2nd in shotput and a 3rd in 200m. Both Annie and Dylan were selected in the Charters Towers Athletics Team to compete in Townsville.
In the younger age groups, Grace Ferguson, Eloise Wassmuth,Kane Condon, Ben Shunemann and Imogen Wassmuth ran well in their heats and made it into the finals for their sprints.
The BTC team was 2nd in the Average trophy.

Junior Assembly
Students were presented with their winning certificates for their Charters Towers Show posters and handwriting. Boyd Daly received his academic award from last semester.
Merit certificates for the fortnight were awarded to:- Kane Condon, Kaed Alloway, Nate Thompson, Brooke Evans,Lilliebeth McDonald, Bella McKean, Jarad Stoll,Matthew Smallwood, Emma Eberle, Hayden Gallagher and Jack Lollo
