Health and PE Recreational
Yr 11 and 12 Health and PE students recently visited the Gun Club to learn about the recreational aspect of the Gub Club. Students were taught the safety issues of using the guns and were then able to test their skills. Thanks to the members of the Gub Club for allowing the use of their guns and in providing instruction to the students. Thanks to Ms Sharkey for organising it.
Under 8's Day
The day dawned with rainy weather for our Under 8's celebrations. With a quick change from the outside grass venue the activities were set up in the undercover area and Prep room. Students were excited and ,after being put into groups, moved around such activities as face painting, dough, animals from around the world, making yummy biscuits, gelly-baff, obstacle course and a visit from the fire truck. Playgroup children and parents enjoyed playing with some of the older children at activities. To top the morning off all Under 8 students had a delicious morning tea.It is certainly fun being Under 8!

Netball Round Up
The netball girls competed against High School in some hard fought games. With the Ists see-sawing by just 1 or 2 points by the time the fulltime hooter went the girls were down by 1 point. That is the end of the first round so this next round will be very important and exciting. Some BTC teams went away to the Mc Donald's Cup in Townsville recently (former the Powerade Cup) The BTC 1sts played well, winning all their games in their division. Keep up the good work netball girls :you are great ambassadors for the College.
