Game 3
Thornburgh started well against St Josephs, with two tries out wide by Travis Wilson. Connor Essex had a run away try and Damien Bige scored under the post. Mitch Fogarty's boot was true with some handy conversions. Final score 30-16 with Mitch the Man of the Match. The win put BTC in a good position going into the first of the Plate Division games.
Game 4
BTC was up against St Brendans 2 team. After St Brendans, raced away with a few quick tries in the first 20 minutes, BTC set themselves a hard chase game. Mitch went over for a try just at the end of the first half to have a 20-4 point game on their hands. The second half was a very evenly matched with BTC hammering the opposition line but failing to cross for the much needed points. At the end of the game St Brendan's crossed out wide to take the final score 26-4. Man of the Match was Damien Bige.
With Wednesday the rest day, BTC will have two more games to play with one of Thursday and one on Friday.
