Blackheath Girls at QISSN

The Blackheath team has been competing at the QISSN netball carnival this week. They have had mixed results but on a count back they have gone into Divison 6 as the number 1 team. Good luck girls for the next 2 days of competition.

Day 1. BTC went down to Rockhampton Grammar 11-21 with Etta Sagon the Player of the Match.The next game saw BTC beat Assisi 14-2 with Tenisha Soloman as Player of the Match.
The final game was against Mercy College  where the girls put up a strong game but  went down 24-6 with Tenisha again getting Player of the Match.

Day 2. The girls had a very close game against Xavier College to just fall short  14-15 with Tenisha being awarded Player of the Match.  The second game saw the girls rally well to beat Gilroy Santa Maria 23-17 with Tenisha again taking the honours of Player of the Match. The third match was  against a well drilled Chanal College and the BTC team went down 23-8 . Finally BTC faced CCC in their last game of the day. Unfortunately they gave CCC a large head start which they couldn't rein in by fulltime. Player of the Match was Jessee Santo.
