Premiership Game

The BTC 15's Rugby League  team took to the field against ASSG today for the quest to be Undefeated Premiers for 2016. The start of the game was a bit slow  with a try from harry being disallowed, until finally the ball went   through Harry and Jack's hands to Kelland Elliot who dove over for a try in the corner to take BTC to a 4-0 lead at half time.  The team  came out looking for more points and didn't disappoint. Josh Walsh and Stacey Krause also crossed in the corner before a fumble from ASSG saw Louie Johnstone pick up the ball and pass off to Josh Walsh who went over for another try, under the posts.  BTC 18 ASSG 0. The boys kept the defensive pressure up and didn't let ASSG in with the final score 18-0.    Well done boys. Man of the Match went to Kelland Elliott, although Coach Fildes did have a hard job choosing with so many boys playing their best. Coach also commended the defensive play of the  team, for only having 4 tries scored against them all season.
