The BTC Primary students competed at the Interschool Athletics Carnival. The first race was the heats of the 200m which saw Maclyn Scarborough, Ainsley Thompson and Poppy Prichard make it through to the final. In the 800m both Imogen Wassmuth and Juke Ferguson place 3rd in their final. In the younger students sprint race heats, we had lots of students qualify for the final. Hank Daly, Kaed Alloway, Kane Condon , Lincon Foot and Nate Thompson lined up for the finals. Sophia Ferguson, Kia King, Grace Ferguson raced in the finals with Sophia placing 1st, Kia 3rd and Grace 3rd. The Infant boys relay , consisting of Kaed Alloway, Kane Condon, Gareth Stoll and Boyd Daly won a red ribbon each when they placed 2nd. In the field events Bella McKean came 1st and set a new record of 6.13m in the 9yrs girl shot put. Maclyn Scarborough jumped into 3rd place in the long jump. In the older students' 100m sprints, both Poppy Prichard and Will Semmens qualified for the finals with Poppy placing 3rd. Well done to all the students who competed and tried their best representing BTC.
