The Junior Girls , Junior Boys and Open Boys went down to CCC in the final. The teams played hard and tried their best right up to the full time hooter. Catherine Oliver won the referees points for the Best Junior Girl Player of the Carnival. BTC 1sts had a win over BTC 2nds in the Open Girls. Player of the final was Lauren Millett while Bridget Ginns-Larkin won the referees Best Open Girl Player of the Carnival.

Interschool Basketball Competition
BTC Secondary School students competed against other Charters Towers schools in the Friday/ Saturday basketball competition. The BTC teams have represented the College very well. The Junior Boys had a close win over CTSHS 14-13 but went down to CCC 44-15. These two teams will meet again in the final. The Junior Girls have had three wins- 96-14 against CTSHS, a good win over ASSG with a very close game against CCC where they were up 27-24 at the final hooter. They will also be up against CCC again in the final. The Open Girls had two teams in the competition. The BTC 1 team had two wins- 23-5 against CCC and 24-19 against BTC2 while the BTC2 team beat CCC. So the final will see the BTC1 and BTC2 teams clash again. The Open Boys had a win against CTSHS but narrowly went down to CCC 29-31. The final will see the BTC boys take on CCC again.
