BTC teams competed against ASSG in both netball and Rugby League. A big congratulations and thanks to all the boys who backed up playing two footy games today. It shows great heart and spirit.
The 14 yrs boys played first and had a great game winning 30-10. Morris Morseu won the BTC player of the match.The 13 yrs team,which had players backing up from the 14's win, unfortunately went down 6-44. Isaiah Vailalo was presented with BTC player of the match.
The 15yrs boys , with 14 yr boys backing up, played well but went down 18-42. BTC player of the match was Allen Rau.
The 1sts ran on through a huge tunnel of BTC supporters. The games started with ASSg scoring first but BTC hit back and scored as well. half time saw ASSG ahead of the BTC boys. While the team tried to claw their way back with some gutsy efforts, a few errors saw the ASSG team capitise on the errors and score. While the full time score of 12-50 was not a true indication of the game, the boys know they will need to dig deep for the next encounter. BTC Man of the Match was Lachlan Corrigan.
There was a great crowd of supporters enjoying the day of school sport.
