Secondary Interschool Cross Country

Secondary Interschool Cross Country was held in the morning this year.Students from all four Charters Towers schools milled around at the airport waiting to be called for the start of their race. The races were run from oldest to youngest , with girls before boys.Most of the competitors put in their best effort to gain points for the College. Some outstanding results were Sarah Hesp(13yrs) Jacob McLaren(14yrs) and Layne Prichard(14 yrs), who each came first in their respective age groups. Also impresive in the top 5 finishers were Jodie Fisher 2nd, Callum Smith 2nd, Morgan Williams 2nd, Thomas Polkinghorne 2nd, Rachael Dahl 4th, Colin Rayment 5th and Damon Hesp 5th. BTC had quite a few students also finish in the top 10.At the end of the day BTC come 3rd in the Boys Aggregate Trophy, 2nd in the Girls Aggregate Trophy and 2nd Overall to ASSG. Great effort BTC.
