Final Year 12 Assembly

After being 'practically graduated' all year, the Senior Class of 2015  graduated in front of the College staff and students, and family and friends. Principal Mr Fairbairn addressed the class and brought laughter to the group as he had a funny quip for each of them. Jessica Blackey gave a short reflection before College Captains, Madi Smith and Sevese Morea  gave their speeches. Chairman Mr Brian Beveridge gave his address to gathering , followed by Jemimah Phillott and Jack Mellor giving their humourous reflection and memories of each Senior. Merial Kenni, Sevese Morea and Jemimah Phillott presented two musical items...which started a few tears flowing. The seniors were then presented with a gift, Year 12 Certificate information and badge from the Past Student's Association and a glass from a Prep student.

Finally, they were dismissed for the last time and after making their way up through the hall they performed the Blackthorn War Cry with pride and passion. Hugs and goodbyes to each other and other students, as they made their way through the guard of honour of staff and students wishing them on their way.
