The BTC 1sts Rugby League team have been training and playing in a pre season competition in Townsville. Last week the boys played Townsville State High and came home with a win 20-10 after being down 10-6 at half time. The boys dug deep in the 2nd half and played some good defence. Best players for the games were Sevese, Damien, Veau but Man of the Match was Brodie Land who was outstanding in attack and defence.
Scores from other games played this term include going down to Kirwan 2nds 36-10 and winning against Shalom 22-16. In the Nines Competition the BTC team went down to Kirwan, Ignatius park 2nds and Abergowrie but had a win over Pimlico.
BTC U16 won 37-24 against Ignatius Park U 15's.
