Queensland Primary Netball Championships

Year 7 student, Amy Neville, recently returned home after representing North Qeensland at the State Primary Netball Championships at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast. The North Queensland team won 5 of the 11 games played with the closeness of the games evident in the fact that the eventual Premiers only beat the NQ team by 4 points. Unfortunately Amy badly broke her finger on the first day of competition but went on to win the Spirit of the Carnival Award for enthusiatic cheering and support. Despite the broken finger, Amy enjoyed the experience and has come back to Charters Towers with new skills to bring onto the netball court.
