All Primary schools are competing in Athletics carnivals in Term2 rather than Term3 this year because the State and National titles are being held earlier this year. The BTC Primary students competed in their Interhouse Athletics carnival last week. On Wednesday the Yr5-7 students ran the 800m event. On Friday the day started with the sprint races and then moved onto the field events. P-2 had their round robin of fun activities. Mini events such as hammer throw, high jump, long jump, target throwing, basketball shots and javelin were on offer as the students moved around the activities. Year 3-7 were involved in long jump, shot put and high jump. The 200m was run at the end of the day.Jessee Santo broke records in 100m(13.62), long jump (4.02m), 200m (32.14).
