Students commenced their first school day for 2011 : returning students excitedly swapping news with friends while new students smiled shyly at fellow students all eager to find out which teachers, which rooms and most importantly what was for lunch! Unfortunately with Cyclone Yasi threatening NQ, all schools and businesses have been closed ........so students will have another "first day" next week..........
