Confraternity Day 5

 The Thornburgh boys lined up against St Johns on a chilly Ipswich morning.  Both teams had scored tries in the first 10 minutes.  A change of tactics saw BTC score again when instead of kicking , Taye passed the ball off to Jack McQueen  who sprinted toward the line and was ably backed up Ethan and Jordan. A pass off to Ethan saw him dive over the try line.   The team played a very defensive game in the last half and weren't able to post anymore points on the board. A hard game with final score 20-8.  Player of the Match was  captain Brennan Leggett.  Brennan  thanked his team and supporters for a great week of confraternity. The supporters thanked the team for also giving them a great week. BTC Player of the Carnival was awarded to Damien Bige. Well done boys and thanks to coaches and manager,  Max Batt, Adam Bowden, Leo West and Tim O'Rourke. Next year....Rockhampton.
