Junior School students celebrated the end of Term 1 with lots of fun Easter activities.In the morning session the students rotated around craft activities including, egg scratching patterns, coloured sand pictures, bunny ears, face painting and Easter cards. Kindy kids came down for a visit to join in the fun. After morning tea the students were involved in games which included ball games, sack races and egg and spoon races. Finally after lunch was an Assembly where Awards were given out Class awards were presented to Jarad, Erin, Taia, Ainslie,Taitum, Grace, Kane and Kody . Play is the Way Awards were presented to Sophia,Harry,Taia and Taitum. Finally birthday wishes were given to Justin, Harry and Thomas.Then it was time to show off the Easter bonnets that had been made.
The Easter bonnet parade which was judged by Mr Fairbairn and Mrs Devenish. Winners for the bonnets made were Kane Condon, Macklin Scaborough, Mia Bassett and Taia Scarborough. Students then set off on an Easter Egg hunt and word search for clues around the play area. A great day to start the holidays. Happy Easter Junior School!
