Meryn Dunn (Judge Turpin), Jesse Adkins (Beadle Banford) and Justin Todd (Jonas Fogg) were the other lead characters.Mention must be made of Gemma Hill's comic portrayal of the Priest and Policeman. A special thank you was given to Jarrah, Justin and Hudson for all their extra support and hard work in producing this performance. Sweeney Todd
The students recently performed "Sweeney Todd,The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street" at the Blackthorn Hall.Jack Dahl (Sweeney Todd) and Jarrah Aithchison (Mrs Lovett) represented the main characters convincingly. Hudson Fox (Anthony) brought humour to the show as he wooed Louse Black (Johanna). With Hayley Christensen ably playing the beggar woman, surprising everyone at the end when it was revealed she was Sweeney Todd's much loved wife Lucy, whom he had been told had poisoned herself. Curtis Rayment (Toby) was the smart and cheeky off-sider to Chris Hammer (Pirelli) before he became the barber's first victim. Curtis went on to being "adopted" by Mrs Lovett but got a rude surprise when he found fingers in the pies.
