Five BTC boys, who were selected to play in the Townsville Brolgas U17yrs side, recently returned home from their trip to Japan. During the 10 day trip the team won 4 of the 5 games played, narrowly going down to the "third best school team in Japan". Other highlights of the trip were sightseeing in Nikko, billeting with Japanese families, enjoying Japanese food and culture and the two inches of snow that fell on the last day before their final game. One of the most memorable experiences for the boys was enjoying communal baths with other Japanese men. The boys thoroughly enjoyed their experience and the hospitality in Japan and know the BTC students travelling to Japan this June will have a great time.
