Junior Leaders Induction

Last term the Junior School Leaders were inducted at a special Induction Assembly. After reading their pledge the leaders were handed their certificates and badges by  Principal Mrs Moxham and Junior School Co-ordinator Miss Fuller. The assembly was entertained by the Junior Vocal group and the College Stage band.
The Junior Leaders are: Girl Captain- Georgia Mintram   Boy Captain- Jim Burgess.
                      Girl Sports Captain- Amy Neville    Boy Sports Captain- Jack McQueen.

Anzac Day

Students and staff represented BTC in the Anzac Day Commemorative march in Charters Towers. With Anzac Day falling on Easter Monday this year, representation from all schools was down.Although many of the boarders could not be present for the march in Charters Towers, students represented BTC at their home town services. Courtney Sheales, Angus, Tom and Jack McQueen  and Josiah, Harrison  and Jemimah Phillott proudly marched in their BTC uniform at the Winton service.Thanks to the staff and students who played in the band and all those who marched.

Kops in Kilts

Primary students recently went to the World Theatre to see Kops in Kilts. This was the Police service bagpipe band. They were very entertaining, playing a lot of songs the students knew. Some BTC students were selected to go up on the stage to help perform "Bob the Builder".

Easter Celebrations in the Primary School

Students in the Kindy and Primary School were involved with making Easter bonnets and then participating in the Easter bonnet parade. On the last day of term the students were also involved in an Easter Egg hunt which was a lot of fun.
