Primary Interschool Athletics

While there were some stand out individual performances at the Primary Interschool Athletics Carnival it was the effort the whole team put in that won us the Average Trophy. From the 5 year old Preps up to our 13 year old competitors, they all contributed to our points tally. We also came 5th in the Aggregate trophy. Congratulations also to Sean Bawden, Lily Rayment and Jessee Santo for selection in the Charters Towers Athletics Team to compete in the NQ Trials in Townsville 7 September.

SOSE Excursion to the Venus Battery

Yr 10 SOSE students visted the Venus Battery as part of their studies on the Gold Rush Era in Charters Towers. They enjoyed the images projected on the screen of water spray. The excursion ended with a trip to the Stock Exchange.

Senior Formal

Every year when the Formal comes around it is wonderful to see the beautiful young ladies and handsome gentlemen dress up for the occassion. This year was no different. The students proudly showcased their outfits on the lawn in front of Thornburgh House before joining other schools seniors at the Black and White themed event at the Arthur Titley Centre.
