Pajingo Camp

Last week Year 8, 9, 11 and some 12's went on a camp to Pajingo Station. After arriving we chose our beds in the dormitories. Then we were divided into groups with great names like Sandpit Ninjas , Kung Fu Pandas , Muffler Mafias and Crash Test Dummies. Our groups then went to activities such as orienteering, low ropes, archery, canoeing and ball games. We went to the cattle yards where some students got to brand cattle and preg test the cows. Not all of us were interested in preg testing the cows and wanted to watch.(The long gloves and where the hand had to go was yuckky) Food time was great and we liked to make toast over a fire and toast the marshmallows . At night time we looked through the telescope and saw Jupiter , played volleyball and had a quiz.There was a dog called Bella who had three puppies. They were very cute.We had lots of fun at Pajingo and we would like to go again another day.

Primary Interschool Athletics Carnival

With numbers depleted due to sickness, the Primary athletes competed admirably. All athletes gave their best throughout the day and should be congratulated. Although not finishing in the place getters for the Aggregate or Average trophies we had some outstanding individual efforts. Jacob Mc Laren made winning the 12 yrs boys 800m look easy; Amy Neville jumped her way to a first place in the 10yrs high jump; Poppy Prichard sprinted to a second on her 60m sprint then backed up to bring home a record making win in the Infants Relay-along with team mates Jahana Critchley, Daisy Pickering and Eva Van Egmond; Jessee Santo , although not feeling 100%, galloped away from her competitors to win the 10 yrs 80m sprint. Throughout the day,the BTC Spirit was alive and well with all competitors deserving a big WELL DONE!
