With Anzac Day being in the College Term 1 Break many students were not in Charters Towers for Anzac Day commemorations.A small contingent of BTC leaders and students represented the College at the Dawn Service.A wreath was placed at the War Memorial and poppies were scattered on the headstones.Later in the morning students assembled in Mosman Street to represent the College in the Anzac Day march along Gill Street to the Cenotaph where another wreath was placed. Thank you to all students, staff and parents who marched.

Primary School Interhouse Cross Country
The Primary School students competed in the Interhouse Cross Country on the last day of Term 1. Congratulations to the spirit shown and energy used in this event.The Senior School Health and PE Recreation students helped ensure the morning was a great success.In the Girls Competition the Age Champions were 6yrs Jahana Critchley, 7yrs Ellie Herrod, 8yrs Ronnie Critchley,9yrs Sophie McLaren, 10yrs Maddie Aitchison, 11yrs Madi Smith, 12yrs Layne Prichard ,13yrs Elissa Marsterson with the overall House winner being Bryce . The Boys Age Champions were 6yrs Zac Mc Grath, 7yrs Harry Mintram, 8yrs Jack Pickering,9yrs Jamie Lessells, 11yrs Daniel Simatis, 12yrs Jacob Mc Laren with the overall House winners being Dickson House.Students 10yrs and over will represent BTC in the Interschool Cross Country in Term 2.

Primary School Easter Disco
Primary students enjoyed a Break-Up Easter Disco.Students had been busily making Easter bonnets to compete in the Easter bonnet parade.Parents enjoyed nibbles , drinks and "down time" while their children bopped away at the disco. Thanks to the Primary Leaders and Year 7 students for organising the disco. A great time was had by all.
